We are Hiring Java Technical Lead to join our team at Data Economy

Role: Java Technical Lead

Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA

Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune

Experience: 8+ years

Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Java developers.

Design, and implement robust and scalable microservices-based applications using Java.

Drive best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies within the team.

Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.

Lead the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, meeting project deadlines and objectives.

Hands-on development of Java-based applications, utilizing Spring Boot framework and other relevant technologies.

Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external systems.

Implement automated testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.

Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the development team.

Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.

Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Drive initiatives to enhance software development practices and toolsets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Lead Java Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).

Extensive experience in developing microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP and DevOps practices is desirable.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
