Alkemy Edtech, a leading innovator in Hyderabad's edtech scene, seeks a highly skilled and visionary Technical Architect & Development Lead to join our growing team


In this pivotal role, you'll be the architect of our technology stack, spearheading the development process, fostering a culture of innovation, and leading our team of talented developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Architecture:
  • Design and implement a scalable and secure technology stack that supports Alkemy Edtech's long-term goals (web development, AWS, CRM, mobile app development).
  • Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends and evaluate new technologies to optimize our platform and user experience.
  • Develop and document technical roadmaps for future development initiatives.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of these technologies and strong programming background (e.g., Java,Python).
  • Development Team Management:
  • Lead our internal development team by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and direction.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, code quality, and efficient problem-solving within the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by coaching and mentoring developers.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks, manage development timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (product, design) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record as a Technical Lead or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with AWS deployment and/or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for education and a desire to contribute to a company making a positive impact.

Technical Skills (Required):

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Experience with database management and SQL
  • Good understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes
