Graphic Designer (Intern)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented graphic designer to create compelling visual content that supports WoowLocal's marketing efforts, enhances user experience, and maintains consistent brand identity across all platforms and touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Design & Visual Identity

• Maintain and evolve WoowLocal's brand identity and visual guidelines
• Create consistent visual elements across all marketing materials and platforms
• Design logos, brand assets, and visual elements for various applications
• Ensure brand consistency across digital and print materials
• Develop brand style guides and design templates for team use

Digital Marketing Design

• Create engaging social media graphics, posts, stories, and promotional banners
• Design digital advertisements for Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and other platforms
• Develop email newsletter templates and marketing automation visuals
• Create app store assets, screenshots, and promotional graphics
• Design web banners, landing page graphics, and website visual elements

Print Marketing Materials

• Design brochures, flyers, pamphlets, and other promotional print materials
• Create outdoor advertising materials including hoardings, banners, and posters
• Design business cards, letterheads, and other corporate stationery
• Develop point-of-sale materials for merchant partners
• Create packaging designs and delivery-related branded materials

App & User Interface Design

• Design user interface elements and icons for mobile application
• Create intuitive and user-friendly visual layouts for app screens
• Develop promotional graphics and banners for in-app use
• Design notification templates and push notification graphics
• Create user onboarding graphics and tutorial illustrations

Marketing Campaign Visuals

• Design visual assets for seasonal campaigns and promotional events
• Create infographics and data visualization materials
• Develop merchant onboarding materials and training visuals
• Design presentation templates for sales and marketing team
• Create visual content for video marketing and promotional videos

Photography & Content Creation

• Coordinate product photography sessions with merchants
• Edit and enhance product photos for platform listings
• Create lifestyle photography concepts for marketing campaigns
• Develop visual content guidelines for merchant partners
• Maintain organized digital asset library and photo database

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
• 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse design skills
• Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
• Experience in both digital and print design

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in poster design, video reels, Social media contents
• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic video editing
• Understanding of social media design specifications and requirements
• Experience with design collaboration tools like Figma or Sketch
• Basic photography and photo editing skills
• Knowledge of local cultural elements and Tamil typography
