About the Role
Responsibilities
-
Develop efficient product cost structure based on cost sheet by productProvide cost analysis data to support manufacturing and product development decisionsEnsure timely preparation of cost related MIS reports vis-à-vis Targets/ Standards, for Business & Operation ReviewsCapture and analyse data related to machine capacity utilization, downtime, wastage, maintenance time / costIdentify and introduce effective monitoring systems for internal controls, cost-effective measures and credit control systems, those in line with best practices followed across Organization/ IndustryResponsible for Cost Audit of the business verticalWork closely and partner with supply-chain team and inventory management team to set up robust processes and procedures in relation to inventory managementDevelop policies and internal controls for all cost accounting and inventory activitiesStrictly monitor the cost budgets and escalate deviations with actual on a monthly basis and recommend remedial/ cost control measuresTake initiative for Cost Reduction drive across the verticalClosely work with the core team on Annual Operating Plans and Rolling forecasts to embed cost controls in the budgeting processTake lead while benchmarking with peer industry - best in classBe a good team player and continuously work towards self-upscaling of skills/ competencies and be an enabler for the team members, with an ultimate view to increase productivity on a non-going basis

Should be well versed & possess hands-on experience in SAPGood experience in product Costing, Analysis & ReportingExposure to Cost Audit as per statuteProficient in Windows applications, viz., MS word, MS excel, MS pptExperience in making PowerPoint presentations to the core teamWell versed with MIS reporting, Forecasting/ Outlook, Credit & Cost Control mechanismExposure to preparation of Annual Operating Plan activity for a business verticalExperience in driving cost reduction programs & exposed to review of Management and Operational cost ReportsStrong Analytical Ability and presentation skillsWorked in Cross-functional environment and collaboration thereonExcellent written and verbal communication
