About the Position:We are seeking a Features Writer who is comfortable to work and write on various beats. As a Features Writer, you will play a crucial role in adding an additional layer to our long-standing strengths in traditional lifestyle and entertainment content with insightful analyses, data demystification and thought-provoking narratives.About the Function:Response is the Sales function of the Company and contributes over 90% to the Company’s top-line. The function has colleagues who are engaged in business planning, business development, fulfilment of client orders, and sales capability building. The function uses world class processes, cutting edge technology and analytics to ensure that business growth objectives are met.Responsibilities:Research and Topic Development:- Conduct extensive research to gather information from diverse sources, including academic papers, industry reports, and expert interviews.- Develop innovative story ideas that explore economic, social, and legal issues within the context of traditional lifestyle and entertainment topics.- Inform readers of trends and developments not obvious from day-to-day news reportageWriting and Content Creation:- Write compelling feature articles that blend economic insights, social trends, and legal implications with traditional lifestyle and entertainment themes.- Craft stories that resonate with our readership, offering fresh perspectives and actionable insights.- Collaborate with editors and other stakeholders to refine story angles and ensure accuracy and relevance.Interviewing and Source Management:- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, experts, and prominent industry names.- Build and maintain relationships with sources to stay informed about current developments and emerging trends.Multimedia Integration:- Work closely with multimedia teams to enhance articles with relevant visuals, data visualizations, graphics and multimedia elements.Stay Current with Industry Trends:- Stay abreast of economic, social, and legal trends, translating these insights into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.- Pitch and develop timely feature stories that provide deep analysis and context to traditional lifestyle content.Education:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Journalism, Economics, Sociology, Law, or a related field.Experience:2 Years to 5 Years.
