IT Manager for Sweden Based MNC in Gurugram

- Interacting with internalcustomers and working collaboratively withthem
- Implement the Global IT policies andprocedures.
- Perform IT service desk operations for allsupport issues relating to internal systems infrastructure hardwareand software investigating these issues and seeing them through toresolution with interfacing to Global IT 2nd level supportteams.
- Responsibility for maintaining the availabilitysecurity integrity performance & enhancements of internal ITsystems infrastructure which includes Windows servers LAN networkVoIP phone systems
- Install and configure desktop pcs laptops smartphones and mobile devices with appropriate software applicationsaccording to Global IT standards and ITguidelines
- Phasein /phaseout of HW and SW and InventoryManagement
- Maintain appropriate records of warranties& license information ensuring that licenses are kept up todate and are being used according to agreements inplace
- Collaborate with Global IT staff andcontractors to resolve IT incidents
- Coordinate disasterrecovery of local IT systems including implementation of offsitestorage and system backups in cooperation with Global IT 2nd levelsupport teams and thirdparty IT and business applicationpartners
- Provide user training for basicapplications.
- Maintain knowledge of current new and evolvingstrategies and technologies in relation to system support throughappropriate industry links and professionalmemberships
- Other duties as required from time totime.
- Responsible for managing and mentoring an ITteam.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in ComputerEngineering Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 yearsindustry experience.
- Broad working knowledge of supportingdiagnosing and troubleshooting diverse and varied environments witha focus on PC and Server Hardware MS Operating Systems TCP/IPNetworks
- Experience working with MS Windows servicesregistry Active Directory O365 and remote accesstechnologies.
- Works closely with Global IT and has aattention to details
- Close collaboration with GlobalIT
- Very good English language skills both writtenand verbal
