About the Role
EarthFokus is looking for an
Accounts and Administration Manager
to oversee both financial coordination and office operations at our Perungudi office. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of accounting principles, familiarity with accounting software, and strong organisational skills to manage compliance, payroll, documentation, and day-to-day office activities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across finance and administration with a sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Maintain ledgers and financial records with accuracy.
- Support payroll processing and track employee attendance.
- Assist in preparing budgets, expense reports, and financial summaries.
- Ensure proper bills and documentation are maintained for audits and compliance.
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain compliance checklists (renewals, insurance, statutory deadlines).
- Oversee office infrastructure, including rent, utilities, and maintenance.
- Manage contracts, vendor payments, and service providers.
- Coordinate employee insurance and HR-related paperwork.
- Support recruitment processes after the initial probation period (shortlisting, scheduling, onboarding).
- Act as the point of contact for day-to-day office management and coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum
3 years of experience
in accounting and office administration. - Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage (e.g., Zoho Books).
- Strong understanding of accounting basics and financial processes.
- Excellent
communication and coordination skills
. - Good organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
