Job Description: Junior QA Engineer (Manual Testing)Experience: 6 months (Manual Testing)Location: DehradunEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively.Key Responsibilities- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.- Understand and follow test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing.- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality.- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.- Assist in improving QA processes and test documentation.Skills & Qualifications- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred) — good to have.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good communication and teamwork abilities.- B.Tech degree preferred but candidates with relevant skills and experience may also apply.Nice to Have- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.).- Basic understanding of SQL queries.
