We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst with a strong background in data analysis and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills and experience in data reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our payroll systems and providing insightful data analysis to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for employees on a regular basis (Weekly/Bi weekly/Monthly), ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Data Analysis: Analyse payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization. Provide actionable insights based on the data.
- Advanced Excel Reporting: Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based payroll reports, dashboards, and models to support payroll operations and management decision-making.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll data. Regularly audit payroll records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- MIS Reporting: Developing and maintaining reports for managerial decision-making, analysing data, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any payroll-related issues.
- System Optimization: Participate in the implementation and improvement of payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support: Provide support for payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. Assist in the resolution of payroll discrepancies and issues. Requirements & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business or a related field (BE/BTech).
- Experience: A minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll processing/data analysis/MIS reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, data visualization, etc.).
- Exceptional in data reporting and analysis tools (e.G., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
