Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator, demonstrating expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and data integration solutions. As an ODI Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining efficient data integration solutions to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into a unified data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
  • Data Modeling: Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design and implement data models.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data integration solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, and participate in system and integration testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the development process.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in data integration and ETL development with a strong focus on Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
    • Experience with Oracle databases and data warehousing concepts.
    • Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration methodologies.
    • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle BI tools.
  • Knowledge of other database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud data integration platforms.
