Job Summary


Within KPMG's Technology service line, the Infrastructure Engineering team’s mission is to be the best Infrastructure team ever, by using the right tools for the right job, failing fast and automating like our lives depend on it. You will be working to continuously advance and standardise our client’s infrastructure and pipelined deployments, whilst collaborating with colleagues to write infrastructure as code that scales and takes advantage of the technologies available in the market.


Key Areas and Responsibilities:


As a Gen AI DevOps Engineer, you will:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Evaluate new AI model architectures, fine-tuning methods, and deployment strategies.
  • Optimize existing generative AI models for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Conduct research and development processes for AI strategies.
  • Monitor and manage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Develop and maintain a platform that automates creating, training, deploying, and updating machine learning models.


Qualification

Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials (preferably a technical undergrad degree e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)


Desired Skills and Experience


  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Gen AI and DevOps
  • in at least one of major CSP such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Apache Spark, Ruby, or Scala).
  • with deploying containerized applications and orchestrating them using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • minimum of two years' experience in formulating and strategizing AI solutions.
  • with machine learning and NLP and Large Language Models (LLM) processing techniques, and tools.
  • understanding of infrastructure as code principles and tools and comprehensive working experience with Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Git, or similar CI/CD platforms.
  • developing and implementing generative AI models, with a strong understanding of deep learning techniques such as GPT, VAE, and GANs.
  • building and maintaining scalable API solutions.
  • with DevOps practices and must have an experience of working in agile projects.
  • communication & interpersonal skills, effective problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability and strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
