Overview of the role

           

We are seeking an experienced and highly passionate Software Architect – with minimum 10 years of experience in Embedded Product development - to join our core founding team. The Embedded Software Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions. The Embedded Software Architect will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that meet the needs of the company's clients. He\She will be responsible for design and development of the Embedded software for a Multi-Functional Graphical Display product. He/she shall be extremely passionate and versatile in learning new technologies very quickly and contributing at the strategic and tactical level. Will be reporting and working closely with the CXOs of the Startup.


Skills Required:

Mandatory

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Design & Development of Embedded product.
  • Hands on experience in Board bring up, BSP, low-level device drivers, bootloader, middle-layer components and application layer software.
  • Hands on experience in all phases of Software development life cycle from requirements gathering to design, development, testing and maintenance.
  • Deep understanding of RTOS concepts including boot process, scheduling, memory management, resource distribution, Inter Process Communication (IPC), power management etc.
  • Hands on experience in Graphical User Interface library like Qt, emWin, TouchGFX etc
  • Experience in methodologies to comply with Functional Safety and System Security requirements.
  • Expert level programming skills in C and C ++.
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns and UML
  • Excellent debugging, triaging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Knowledge on tools, IDEs, Compilers, and processes.
  • Familiar with debugging tools (e.g. JTAG debugger (Trace32), evaluation boards, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, data logger, etc.)
  • Ability to work with senior level leaders & stakeholders, persuasive with details and facts
  • Own and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to analyze and suggest solutions


Nice to Have

  • Working experience in Avionics Product development.
  • Good understanding of MIL1553 and AIRINC 429 standards
  • Hands on Experience in Qt
