St Brigid’s School is seeking a dedicated and student-focused OSHC Director  to lead our Before and After School Care service. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families while working alongside a committed team of educators. Position Details: Classification:  ESO Grade 5 Hours:  5 days/week – Monday to Friday Morning: 6:30am–9:30am Afternoon: 2:30pm–6:15pm Total: 37.5 hours/week during school terms (41 weeks/year) About the Role: As OSHC Director, you will oversee the daily operations of our OSHC service, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. You will lead a team of educators, design and implement high-quality programs aligned with the School Age Care Framework, and foster strong relationships with children, families, and the wider school community. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the OSHC service, ensuring smooth operations and a nurturing atmosphere. Develop, implement and evaluate engaging programs that support children’s learning and wellbeing. Mentor and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Build positive relationships with students, families and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards, WHS and other regulatory requirements. Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, rostering and record-keeping. What You’ll Bring: A passion for children’s development and a deep understanding of OSHC services. Proven experience in an OSHC setting, with leadership and mentoring capabilities. Skills in program planning and delivery, especially for children with diverse needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
