With Cloud Firewall, organizations improve their security posture, while reducing operational costs compared to traditional hardware appliances.What's in it for youYou will be a member of a team using state of the art tools and technologies to design, develop and deliver a performant, scalable system that processes customer traffic at cloud-scale. In addition to design and development of the core system, you will also participate in the development of all related automated test infrastructure and CI/CD integration. Your contributions to this effort will be used by Fortune and Global 500 enterprise customers on a daily basis.What you will be doingDesigning, Architecting and Developing high performance, scalable cloud based security systems and services.Building highly scalable, low latency and high throughput services for the Netskope cloud.Coordinating with other service development teams, product management and support teams to ensure scalability, supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services.Working with Product Management to understand customer requirements and translating the same to engineering requirements and design. Understanding requirement specs, researching appropriate solutions, and designing/implementing high-quality features that ensure reliability, sustainability, scalability and observability.Working with QA to help them better test our product.Required skills and experience18+ years of experience building high-performance networking security software in a distributed L3-L7 environmentProgramming mastery in C/C++, Solid understanding of data structures with Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of Networking concepts - TCP/IP, SSL/TLS etcGood working knowledge of Firewalls, IPS/IDS etcExperience with traffic analysis tools like Tcpdump/Wireshark.Experience with Unit Testing frameworks - C++ gtest, pytestWillingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zonesSelf-starter with desire to work in a fast paced environment with cross-timezone teams.Candidate should have an attitude of “go and get it done” and should exhibit it in day-2-day workExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Bonus points for experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL datastores, CI/CD, JenkinsEducationBSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred#LI-JB1Netskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
