Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain firewall infrastructure to safeguard network security and mitigate cyber threats effectively.
  • Implement robust firewall policies, rules, and access controls based on security requirements and industry best practices, ensuring optimal protection of network resources.
  • Monitor firewall logs and alerts diligently to detect security incidents, anomalies, and policy violations promptly, taking decisive action to address and mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments of firewall configurations to ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory standards, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with network and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues and performance bottlenecks, fostering seamless network operations.
  • Evaluate emerging firewall technologies, features, and updates, providing recommendations for their integration and implementation to enhance network security posture.
  • Offer technical support, guidance, and training to IT teams and stakeholders on firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization to empower effective network security management.

Requirements :


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of network security principles and practices.


  • Proven experience as a firewall engineer or network security engineer, showcasing expertise in designing, deploying, and managing firewall infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching, coupled with hands-on experience with firewall management tools such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, or Fortinet.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Skills :

  • Firewall Configuration : Proficient in designing, deploying, and configuring firewall infrastructure to ensure robust network security.
  • Network Security : Skilled in implementing firewall policies, rules, and access controls to safeguard network resources and data.
  • Troubleshooting : Experienced in identifying and resolving firewall-related issues and performance problems to maintain uninterrupted network operations.
  • Collaboration : Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security objectives and mitigate network security risks.

Preferred :

  • Certification in network security or firewall technologies (e.g. CCNA Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), validating expertise and proficiency in network security practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based firewall solutions and virtualized network environments, demonstrating adaptability to evolving network security requirements and technologies.
