Job Description: PCB Design Engineer (5–10 Years Experience)

We are looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing complex, high-speed multilayer PCBs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, and Allegro, along with a strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout high-speed, multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer, OrCAD, and Allegro
  • Perform schematic capture and translate system-level requirements into robust electronic designs
  • Conduct signal integrity and power integrity simulations to validate board performance
  • Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and regulatory standards during design
  • Apply DFM and DFA principles to ensure efficient fabrication and assembly
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support prototype development and perform hands-on testing and validation using tools like oscilloscopes, function generators, and NI DAQ systems
  • Select appropriate electronic components and create accurate footprints
  • Maintain version control and documentation for schematics, layouts, and BOMs
  • Understand and support PCB assembly processes including SMT, THT, reflow, and wave soldering

Required Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in PCB design and development
  • Strong practical knowledge of industry tools and PCB manufacturing processes

Tools & Instruments:

Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Function Generator, NI DAQ
