Job Overview:

Our R&D Product Development Engineering Teams envision and introduce cutting-edge products into practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from scratch, driving creativity, and exploring new design possibilities. Your expertise in PCB engineering will enable scalable contributions, ensuring seamless project execution.

  • Design and deliver high-quality PCBs, meeting the required stackup analysis, routing strategy, placement feasibility, and IPC standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with manufacturing processes and soldering techniques, leveraging knowledge of electrical, software, automation systems, data packaging, testing, and measurement.
  • Develop documentation related to board design and fabrication, ensuring accuracy and functionality in the end design.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and delivering library parts (schematic symbol, PCB footprint, EOL verification, alternate part selection).
  • Collaborating with engineering teams, utilizing generalized engineering direction to create detailed custom footprints and 2D drawings.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and functionality of the end design, taking ownership of various aspects of PCB design.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail.
  • High motivation, quick learning ability, and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Understanding of printed circuit board design, manufacturing, and assembly is mandatory.
  • Experience with library part creation, Altium Nexus, Allegro Designer, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards for library creation and familiarity with Altium, Allegro, and AutoCAD tool scripting are advantageous.
  • Board design skills, 2D drawing, and fabrication drawing creation using Altium Draftsman and ZWCAD are added advantages.
