We're looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team and help us grow our online presence by creating informative and engaging content focused on health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Facebook & Instagram aligned with our brand voice and target audience.
- Research and create high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) on various health and wellness topics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to credible sources.
- Stay up-to-date on current health trends, research, and news to curate and share relevant information.
- Schedule and publish content consistently across all social media platforms.
- Manage and moderate comments and messages, fostering a positive and supportive online community.
- Analyze social media data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns and content.
- Identify and partner with relevant health and wellness influencers to expand our reach.
- Stay informed of the latest social media trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement new social media initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Health Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing, with a focus on health and wellness content creation a plus.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and their algorithms.
- Excellent writing, research, and editing skills.
- Ability to create visually appealing and engaging social media content (photos, videos) a plus.
- Experience with social media management tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media data.
- Passion for health and wellness with a genuine desire to educate and inspire others.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized.
