Job Title: Junior Cost Accountant

Location: Bangalore


Required Skills and Responsibilities:


  • Product cost analysis at a granular level and reporting and correcting bill of material (BOM) cost inaccuracies
  • Recommend ways to reduce the costs and enhance the Gross Margin.
  • Develop and Maintain Cost Standards for Material and Labor
  • PPV and MPV analysis and adjustments
  • WIP analysis and tracking
  • Work Orders variance analysis and adjustments.
  • Inventory analysis comprising inventory categorization, ageing, turns and obsolescence
  • Oversee Cycle count/inventory count process
  • Inventory adjustments review and entries
  • Support ad-hoc projects and requests


Education Qualification:


  • CMA Inter/MBA Finance /bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of direct or relevant experience in cost accounting and/or financial analysis
  • Ability to build business partnerships with key stakeholders and drive financial and cost discipline across the company
  • Skilled at sorting through large amounts of data to identify the key issues to focus on
  • Skilled in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Preferably NetSuite.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines
  • Great team player, communicator, and listener
