Role: Network Operations EngineerLocation: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Delhi, IndoreWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to join the dynamic infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions that ensure high availability, performance, and security across our enterprise systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving network optimization and scalability initiatives that align with our business objectives.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement network architectures that support high traffic loads and complex connectivity requirementsMonitor and troubleshoot network performance issues utilizing tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and NagiosDevelop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practicesLead incident response efforts for network outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftlyDocument network configurations, changes, and procedures, contributing to knowledge management and operational efficiencyMentor junior network engineers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharingStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and network enhancementsRequired and Preferred QualificationsRequired:5+ years of experience in network engineering or operations, with a strong background in enterprise networkingDeep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP), MPLSProven experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systemsFamiliarity with network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or AnsibleStrong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issuesPreferred:Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or equivalentExperience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Networking)Experience in managing SDN (Software-Defined Networking) environmentsTechnical Skills and Relevant TechnologiesProficiency in network design and implementation, including LAN/WAN technologiesExperience with network monitoring and management tools, including SNMP and NetFlowHands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
