Role Overview As an Electrical Design Engineer , you will be responsible for the design, estimation, and technical validation of electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with the operations, estimation, and procurement teams to ensure technically compliant, cost-effective, and high-performance electrical designs that align with IS, NBC, and IEC standards. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities Design HT & LT electrical distribution systems , panel boards, cable sizing, earthing, and lighting layouts. Prepare load calculations, single line diagrams (SLDs), and GA drawings using AutoCAD or Revit. Develop BOQ and technical specifications based on tender documents. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for design approvals. Review shop drawings and ensure design compliance during execution. Prepare voltage drop, short-circuit, and cable tray sizing calculations. Ensure all designs meet IS, IEC, and NBC code standards. Support project and estimation teams with technical inputs during bidding. Suggest value-engineering solutions for cost optimization without compromising safety or performance. Maintain proper documentation of drawings, design calculations, and revisions.
