You’ll work closely with the operations, estimation, and procurement teams to ensure technically compliant, cost-effective, and high-performance electrical designs that align with IS, NBC, and IEC standards.⚙️ Key ResponsibilitiesDesign HT & LT electrical distribution systems, panel boards, cable sizing, earthing, and lighting layouts.Prepare load calculations, single line diagrams (SLDs), and GA drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.Develop BOQ and technical specifications based on tender documents.Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for design approvals.Review shop drawings and ensure design compliance during execution.Prepare voltage drop, short-circuit, and cable tray sizing calculations.Ensure all designs meet IS, IEC, and NBC code standards.Support project and estimation teams with technical inputs during bidding.Suggest value-engineering solutions for cost optimization without compromising safety or performance.Maintain proper documentation of drawings, design calculations, and revisions.🧠 Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of HT / LT systems, transformers, DG sets, panels, breakers, cables, earthing & lighting protection.Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical / Revit / ETAP / Dialux preferred.Knowledge of MEP coordination, load management, and renewable integration (solar + grid sync).Understanding of fire alarm, UPS, and ELV system integration is an advantage.Hands-on with electrical design software, Excel-based BOQ tools, and technical data sheets.🎓 Qualification & ExperienceB.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)Experience: 5–7 years in design & estimation for MEPF / EPC / industrial projectsExperience with consultants, contractors, or design offices in large-scale projects preferred
