Job Description
Your Role

As a WLAN Engineer Lead, you will drive the design, development, and testing of Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products. You'll work on the PrplOS platform, contribute to new feature development, and support certification processes while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead development of Wi-Fi features using IEEE standards (Wi-Fi 4/5/6/7).
  • Work with Wi-Fi management systems like EasyMesh, AirTies, and OpenSync.
  • Develop and test software on Linux and PrplOS platforms.
  • Apply deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and HTTP protocols.
  • Support Wi-Fi certification and compliance processes.
  • Troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues and provide technical assistance.
  • Use C/C++ and shell scripting for embedded software development.
  • Manage code using Git, GitHub, and other version control tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to architectural decisions.
Your Profile
Experience Level: 9–12 Years
Domain: Telecom
  • Strong expertise in Wi-Fi protocols and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux OS and PrplOS.
  • Proficient in C/C++, shell scripting, and network protocol debugging.
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi certification standards and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.
