Your Role 

As a WLAN Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and testing Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust implementation of wireless protocols and support troubleshooting efforts.

In this role, you will: 

- Design, develop and test Wi-Fi software features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender products.
- Work on development of new Wi-Fi features on PrplOS platform.
- Provide technical assistance to other teams to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues.
- Contribute to Wi-Fi certification processes and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.

Your Profile 

- Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 / Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7).
- Experience with Wi-Fi Management Systems (EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and PrplOS platform.
- Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP.
- Exposure to Wi-Fi certification processes.
- Knowledge of source version control tools like Git, GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
