Job Title:  HR Business Partner, India Location: Bangalore Main Responsibilities Trusted Business Partner: Understand and contribute to the business strategies in particular function and support the business needs through aligned people priorities, initiatives, solutions and execution Understands key business performance targets and their related talent implications. Understands and anticipates the need for change, diagnoses the underlying issues and builds the case for change with stakeholders. Builds frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risks, potential scenarios and options to mitigate etc. Supports the local leaders in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy Assists business leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that aligned with current and future business needs Act as a trusted advisor for business leaders and workforce to enable strong collaboration and drive business performance Provides expert advice and coaching to business leaders on people management issues; including employee relations matters, grievances handling, talent opportunities and challenges, talent engagement etc. Partner with location leaders for employee advocacy and create the location level engagement plan. Enhance cross functional and international collaboration Facilitates and embeds HR initiatives aligned with the business agenda of local leaders Partners with Function HRBP and HR COEs to provide support on the design and implementation of new and cyclical programmes at the local level including learning & development, rewards and talent acquisition teams Acts as a liaison between the local leaders and HR to ensure that HR strategy and services are aligned with internal client needs Elevate Employee Experience Improve the day-to-day experience for our people, support employee engagement activities to make AVEVA a great place to work and attract the next generation of talent Understands and solicits employee opinions and anticipates their needs and concerns Develops and promotes ongoing feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes HR Expertise Provides data, insight on employee engagement; guides and supports business leaders on actions required to address gaps to improve the overall engagement. Build deep legislative, market and HR local knowledge and provide in-country insights on people processes, programs as well as resolve complex employee queries which are escalated by HR Services Team Be an Enabler: Diagnose, understand root cause and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines and functions to address gaps and enhance performance Leverage on data analytics: Use data strategically to identify and surface trends to enhance business and organization performance as we make smart and informed decisions Measures of Success: Enabling AVEVA business performance in India Improvement in employee engagement scores and feedback Succession management and Internal talent pipeline in place Addressing employee performance issues Enhance employee retention Diversity balance Local leaders’ role modelling AVEVA LIFE and culture Improving employee and manager self service Compliance with all local HR Legislation HR KPIs/dashboard (TA KPIs, ER cases etc) Essential Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Experience 12-15 years of experience in HR with minimum 8 years of experience in HRBP role Full work rights in India is required Strong business acumen Strong influencing and Problem-solving skills Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication skills Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent, reward and other HR initiatives and business strategy Ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis Ability to engage, inspire and influence people Effective team player and networker Knowledge of HR policies, processes and talent management practices Key Working Relationships India leadership team Local leaders/managers and employees APAC HR, HR Services, Function HRBPs, HR COE’s, Communication teams Finance, IT, Legal People at AVEVA We’re focused on the single most important part of AVEVA’s business: our employees. From recruitment and reward to experience and engagement, our partnerships across the business create and enable the conditions for every individual to thrive.
