Lineaje Inc | Software Engineer in Test | bangalore

This role focuses on driving company-wide Solutions QE strategies, ensuring top-notch solutions testing and QE behavior across the company.
This is a hybrid work environment with the SDET expected to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
The SDET has to demonstrate the usage of ML&AI to create, maintain, and automate test cases and testing.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement projects for continuous infrastructure improvement, automation, and deployment of new systems.
- Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution.
- Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.
- Leverage ML & AI to develop, execute, and automate test plans and test cases.
- Work closely with the team to replicate customer environments.
- Automate complex test suites.
- Develop test libraries and coordinate adoption.
- Identify and communicate risks about our releases.
- Own and make quality decisions for the solution.
- Own the release and be a customer advocate.
- Combine your understanding of automation needs and IT aspects to provide stable, efficient, and self-service R&D test environments.
- Develop expertise in our supply chain security solutions and use that expertise to help design and qualify the solution as a whole.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain automated CI pipelines.
- Automate testing for frontend, UI, and backend components.
- Test microservice-based architecture for reliability and performance.
- Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system robustness.
- Develop and maintain automated testing, particularly using Mabl and/or Testim.
- Act quickly and effectively to address issues, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Go beyond traditional QA responsibilities, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Identify issues that others may overlook, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a similar role.
- Proven experience using Mabl, Testim or similar create test cases, automate the execution of those test cases, and ensure traceability of results.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Strong programming skills. We primarily use Python and other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipeline, or any other CI system.
- Experience testing distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and Docker containers.
- Hands-on experience in AWS and Azure environments.
- Experience building automation frameworks using API-based as well as record and playback automation tools to automate UI flows.
- Experience with databases, SQL, and NoSQL (Elastic is a plus).
- Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative regarding issues and decisions.
- Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems.
- Bonus points for knowledge of database internals and query processing and/or SaaS security infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and GO
- Certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience with load and performance testing.
- Familiarity with Pluralsight for automation tasks.
- Experience leveraging AI in test plan development and execution.
- Passion for quality and delivering excellent customer experiences.
Education:
- B.E or equivalent required, M.E or equivalent strongly preferred.
