Role and Responsibility
• Build and scale automation framework with Python for FPGA and Silicon devices.
• Regularly run the automation tests and collect the test reports on Simulation, FPGA and Silicon devices.
• Enable pipelines through ADO with Powershell, Azure REST API, Azure cli and shell.
• Communicate with team spread across different time zones and involve in Scrum calls.
Required Skills
• Python and robot framework experience along with doing firmware validation for Memory, UEFI, Server or Bios, ADO
• 5+ years of experience
• Build and scale automation framework with Python for FPGA and Silicon devices.
• Support, design and maintain software collaterals in C and C++.
• Experience developing C/C++, Python or any other scripting languages test content.
• Regularly run the automation tests and collect the test reports on Simulation, FPGA and Silicon devices alike.
• Excellent communication with cross-timezone teams, SCRUM knowledge & comfortable in Agile environment
• Enable pipelines through ADO with Powershell, Azure REST API, Azure cli and shell.
• Knowledge of DevOps ADO ecosystem, Azure Artifacts feed and Build Artifacts, NuGet and Universal package publishing.

Job Description:
Role:
We're looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to work across embedded firmware and OS Drivers to bring Surface devices to fruition. The position will be responsible for partnering closely with silicon partners, system engineers, firmware engineers and architects for BSP integration and code optimizations, delivering product designs that are optimized for high volume consumer products.
Minimum Qualification:
• 3+ years of professional experience designing and developing software solutions
• 5+ years of experience in developing software in C/C++
• Working experience with debugging hardware/firmware/software interaction during board bring-up and subsequent updates
• Hands on experience in Windows Kernel, Subsystems and Drivers.
• Experience working with UART, I2C, SPI and/or USB protocols .
• Experience with using Windows kernel debugger ( Windbg )
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Able to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners
Preferred Skills:
• Windows Kernel Subsystems knowled ge (eg Scheduling, Cache, Error Handling, etc).
• Working knowledge of OS primitives: memory management, scheduling, interrupts , threading and ACPI is an added advantage.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Good to have knowledge in Azure Devops - CI/CD test automation .
