Role: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Hyderabad, India
100% work from office (5 days a week)
Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.
Test Planning and Strategy:
Contribute to test planning and strategy by providing input on test coverage, automation feasibility, and best practices.
Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Execution and Analysis:
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and other anomalies.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed reports on test results.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and consistent validation of mobile application builds.
Monitor and manage automated test execution within CI/CD environments.
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
Provide clear and concise reports on test results and automation coverage.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with development teams to promote a culture of quality and ensure that automated testing aligns with development processes.
Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and management on testing progress and issues.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile automation testing.
Propose and implement improvements to the existing automation framework and processes.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Min of 5 years of experience as QA Automation Engineer
Proven experience in automation testing with tools such as playwright, Selenium, or similar.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C#,
Experience with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
