Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Mould Designer. The Mould Designer will be responsible for designing and developing precision moulds used in various manufacturing processes. Daily tasks include interpreting design specifications, creating detailed drawings and CAD models, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the optimal functionality of moulds. The role also involves regularly liaising with clients to refine and adapt mould designs to meet specific requirements and conducting tests to validate the performance of designs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience in creating detailed design drawings
  • Strong understanding of Mould Design principles, including knowledge in MIM, CIM, and Investment Casting techniques
  • Skills in precision machining and working with various materials
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and project presentations
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in MIM or similar technologies, is a plus
