The ideal candidate is responsible for coordinating and executing account reconciliations, budget compilation, and backup to the accounts payable function.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process for complex legal entities, including quality reviews.
Could you prepare statutory reporting, please?
Prepare corporate income tax calculations and entries.
Manage the group, statutory, and tax audits of the entities in scope, including liaising with external auditors.
Liaise with the other finance departments, namely Business Finance, Credit Control, corporate accounting, and Tax compliance teams.
Act as contact person with local service providers and resolve issues as required.
Acts as subject matter expert.
Any other ad hoc tasks Functional Skills and capabilities:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Has a "can-do" attitude, pro-active, flexible mind-set
High level of accounting knowledge
Knowledge of key systems (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tally, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) is essential.
Can work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to make sound and independent judgments. Required
Qualifications
CPA or CA degree
5+ years of relevant accounting or auditing experience in a multinational company • Process automation experience and thinking preferable. US or Foreign Direct Tax Compliance or Tax Provision (Any other tax-related experience can be reviewed)
Advanced Excel skills - Able to create Excel models/automation (querying, generating and understanding complex formulas, debugging)
Visualization ( Tableau, Power BI)
Optional: Excel VBA (macro), Python, SQL Skills
Should have major experience in direct taxation with good in Excel, VBA/Python is good to have Dashboarding skills like Tableau/Power BI is highly preferred
Excellent in communication as they will be working with the US team
60% taxation and 40% technology experience Shift - 1 pm-11 pm - cab will be there
Excellent interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to self-manage and display good planning and organization abilities
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
Deadline-driven individuals who contribute to the success of the team
Ability to cope with stressful situations
Ability to deal with different individuals at all levels in the organization

Sound and proven working knowledge of accounting practices and principles
Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions
Extensive knowledge of tax legislative requirements locally and in international jurisdictions
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or related Required Experience:
Advanced demonstrated experience gained in a similar position
Advanced demonstrated experience gained within the Finance function of a similar information technology environment. Skills in Summary Accounting Reconciliation, Accounting Software, Financial Auditing, Financial Controlling, Financial Procedures, Financial Processes, and accountability for financial forecasting processes.
Reconciles accounts resolve discrepancies and collaborates across various finance and non-finance functions.
Responsible for analyzing journals, producing data and reports, and assisting with variance analysis.
Responsible for the assembly of the annual audit information for external auditors.
As a partner in the accounting process, I recommend improving efficiency using automation. Analyses past performance financial data and prepares budgets and forecasts for business unit management.
Implements adequate financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
