We are seeking a skilled Android Auto and CarPlay Middleware Developer to join our team. This role will focus on developing and optimizing middleware for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance in automotive environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in automotive and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain middleware components for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automotive OEMs, hardware engineers, and other software developers, to integrate and optimize middleware solutions.

- Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols between the in-car infotainment system and mobile devices.

- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and guidelines for safety and performance.

- Work on enhancing system performance, stability, and security.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Android Auto and CarPlay technologies and incorporate them into the middleware.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration issues.

- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on middleware and automotive systems.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Kotlin.

- Experience with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay platforms, including their APIs and SDKs.

- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, MOST) and infotainment systems.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Linux-based operating systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

- Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.

- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 or AUTOSAR.
