We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our Plant Engineering team. The role requires expertise in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CNC, welding, and hydraulic systems, along with exposure to paint systems and mechanical overhauling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance (PM) of CNC machines, welding machines, and paint systems.
  • Carry out overhauling of pumps, gearboxes, jigs, and fixture hydraulics.
  • Ensure timely preventive maintenance of machines as per schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Support line management activities to maintain smooth production operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using MS Office tools.
  • Follow plant safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of CNC & welding machine maintenance (Breakdown + PM).
  • Expertise in paint system O&M.
  • Skilled in pumps & gearbox overhauling.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic systems in jigs & fixtures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Independent level.

Employee Specification

  • Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 58 years in machine maintenance & line management (preferably in auto or heavy fabrication manufacturing industry).
  • Language: Able to communicate in English and Tamil.
