Regional Sales ManagerRole:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales, and overall performance of a specific geographic region for the company. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and coordination to ensure that the region meets or exceeds its goals, contributes to the overall success of the organization, and effectively manages field sales activities.Areas of Responsibility -

Develop and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with overall company objectivesActively engage with the field sales team, providing guidance and support through regular site visits to ensure they effectively meet customer needs and achieve sales targetsSet sales targets and goals for the region, ensuring they are realistic and achievableOversee the implementation of sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targetsAnalyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisionsIdentify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the regionEvaluate potential new markets and recommend entry strategiesAct as a point of contact for major clients and address their concerns or issuesProvide regular and accurate sales reports to senior managementConduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, and competitor activitiesUtilize insights to make informed decisions and implement improvementsEnsure exceptional customer satisfaction and retentionBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the regionMonitor and analyze sales performance metrics, making adjustments as neededMonitor expenses, analyze variances, and take corrective action when necessaryEnsure cost-effective allocation of resourcesRecruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team within the assigned regionProvide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team members.Set individual and team performance targets and conduct regular performance reviewsConduct ongoing training programs for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledgeIdentify areas for improvement and provide coaching and mentoring to team members

Must :

Education - Any Graduate with Professional degree / Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldExperience- 6 – 9 years of experience in business development, sales, Team Management or a related roleIndustry - Any industry or Education / Publication / other similar industries

Desirables:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsGood at People Connect & Relationship ManagementStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM softwareRelevant experience in B2B sales would be a plusWilling to travel, explore periphery regions
