Job Description :

The SQA Engineer is an individual contributor Role which requires partnering with other Engineering

team members to help build and validate the Products and Solutions.

The Engineers would write test strategy, test plans and develop tools and scripts to cover the various

functional, performance and scalability aspects of Platform and Software solution validation.

 Collaborate with development team to translate software requirements into high-quality

test automation suites.

 Collaborate with development team to test and validate features functionality.

 Develop test strategy, test topology and test plan to validate the features end-to-end at

scale with network security considerations.

 Understand various customer deployments and solutions across data center networks,

security, routing and switching and validate customer profiles.

 Execute test cases and validate the solution end-to-end and document the test results on

performance, scale and security.

 Debug and troubleshoot complex issues and work closely with the engineering team on the

failures and validate the fixes.

 Develop automation for the end-to-end solution validation and integrate the automation for

seamless validation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

 Requires a BS or MS in EE/CS and 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in functional, system

test and automation.

 Excellent technical Knowledge on Ethernet and RDMA Protocols.

 Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in test plan development and validating

scalable data center network.

 Hands-on experience in developing test automation suites.

 Experience in performance, scale and convergence testing and analyzing performance

related issues and improving performance and convergence at system level.

 Ability to develop and publish solution validation documents and test reports.

 Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 Highly motivated and self-driven. Able to collaborate cross functionally to meet challenging

goals.

Skillset Required:

 Excellent knowledge and work experience in most of the following areas: L2/L3 Features

(TCP/IP, VRRP, IGMP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, ICMPv6, ARP).

 Experience in working with RDMA protocols.

 Experience in writing test scripts to verify NIC behavior is highly desired.

 Familiarity with Traffic Generators and Network debugging tools (Wireshark, ping,

traceroute etc.)

 Should have hands-on experience on Test planning, topology planning, requirement-to-

testcase mapping, Test case writing, Defect logging and tracking, with excellent debugging

skills.

 Good knowledge and hands-on experience of test tools.

 Good knowledge of testing methodologies, knowledge of different testing types and overall

product life-cycle
