Today, an Indian hospital revenue is largely dominated by Insurance payers - Govt + Private. With 200+ payers in the mix, the overall revenue cycle management (RCM) in India is broken, opaque, and complex filled with unexpected shortfalls and delayed realizations.


At Care.fi, we are building India’s first AI-led RCM platform for hospitals which will enable them to solve these pitfalls and thereby improving margins. About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE)  with hands-on experience in AI, React, Node.js and AWS . This role is designed for someone who not only thrives in building scalable, high-impact products but also aspires to grow into a technology leadership position .


As a core member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, product architecture and long-term tech vision.



What You'll Do


  • Lead the design, development and deployment of applications across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Build and integrate AI/ML models into production-ready systems, ensuring real-world scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions and align technology choices with long-term business strategy.
  • Collaborate with founders, product managers and cross-functional teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Ensure best practices in software engineering, testing, deployment and security.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, building a strong engineering-first culture.
  • Owning technology strategy and innovation initiatives.



What We're Looking For


  • Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, and AWS cloud services.
  • Proven experience building AI/ML-driven applications.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, scalability and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL & NoSQL), APIs (REST/GraphQL), and microservices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance hands-on coding and architectural vision.
  • Excellent communication skills with a leadership mindset.
