About the role We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer III with a proven track record in automation testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions. In this role, you will not only contribute technically but also mentor QA engineers, influence testing strategies, and play a key role in shaping our automation frameworks and processes. As a Cloud Engineer III you will: Lead the QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage. Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards. Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects. What we’re looking for 5-7 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation  Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright (mandatory).  In depth knowledge of automation testing, hands on experience on test strategy & plan (coding/scripting) A high-quality bar; automation testing, code reviews, test automation tools, continuous integration & deployment, and a preference for agile methods. Java, Selenium - nice to have. Proven experience in leading QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems. Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices.  Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with continuous integration & deployment pipelines Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills.
