Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Gurgaon / Pune

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3 - 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive testing processes, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs.
  • Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for both new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and validate system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging processes and ensure effective resolution.
  • Investigate causes of software issues and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
  • Stay updated with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience in writing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Proficiency in black box testing.
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium required).
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good to have: experience with Test Management tools (e.g., Tricentis).
  • Good to have: experience with automation tools like Katalon Studio or BrowserStack Low-Code Automation .
