WITS Innovation Lab is looking for a skilled Senior Database Engineer with strong experience in ETL development, SQL optimization, and preferably exposure to Duck Creek DMS Phase 2. This role supports data integration and performance tuning for enterprise-scale insurance technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflows

Write and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability

Support data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and availability

Collaborate with application and DMS teams to support system integration

Leverage understanding of Duck Creek DMS Phase 2 in data-related configurations (if applicable)

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in database engineering, ETL, and SQL

Strong understanding of data warehousing and relational database design

Hands-on experience with tools like SSIS, Informatica, or similar

Familiarity with Duck Creek DMS Phase 2 is a strong plus

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment.
