Vishvasys Technologies is a deep-tech startup incubated in the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. We are dedicated to solving complex real-world problems using deep tech to benefit a significant portion of the population. We focus on solving problems in the broad fields of (i) Air-Traffic Management, (ii) Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) of aerospace vehicles, and (iii) Automating blood glucose control in Diabetic patients. The proposed solutions to the problems in these four diverse will be through several advanced common core technologies such as Optimization, Control theory, AI, Embedded Systems development and Software development.


We are looking for a full-time on-site role for a ‘systems engineer’ at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), in association with Vishvasys Technologies Pvt. Ltd.


The role involves developing algorithms for the following applications:

·     Guidance and Control for Spacecrafts and rockets

·     Adaptive Control for high-precision Laser beams

·     Guidance Navigation and Control for  Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

·     Artificial pancreas systems for Automatic glucose control in Type-2 Diabetic patients

·     Optimization solutions for Air-Traffic Flow Management

Responsibilities

  • Development of the system model for control design.
  • Developing control algorithms
  • Implementation and Validation of  algorithms using high-fidelity models, processor-in-loop (PIL) simulations.


Required Qualifications

  • B.Tech./M.Tech. in aerospace, electrical engineering or any relevant fields.
  • Strong knowledge in optimization and system engineering.
  • Strong interest and proficiency in programming (C++, Python, MATLAB) and development of embedded systems.


Preferred Qualifications: One or more of the following

  • Prior experience in designing guidance and control systems for aerospace problems
  • Prior experience in solving optimization problems using techniques such as Convex optimization, Nonlinear Programming, Mixed-Inter Programming, etc.  
  • Prior experience with system identification, modelling and numerical methods.
