Job Description:
ISS Market Intelligence (ISS MI)is looking for an Analyst to join to join the Mumbai based Researchteam in support of our ISS MI Research team. The Data Analyst youwill work on small project teams to support our syndicated researchstudies analyze research results and help develop clientdeliverables. Coverage will focus on a recurring series ofsentiment surveys but may also include other survey researchproducts. Analysts develop critical skillsets by contributing to all phases of our research. They gainvaluable market research experience becoming wellversed in surveydesign and implementation data collection and validation andanalysis of results to arrive at strategic implications.Additionally Analysts develop deep knowledge of our clientsbusinesses and strong project management skills. Finally they gainbroad exposure to the US financial services industry and the uniquemarket dynamics for advisorsold products in the asset managementannuity and life insurance space. Analystswho excel are frequently given opportunities to take on additionalresponsibilities. Responsibilities:
Coreresponsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
  • Survey design andimplementation
  • Management of data collection
  • Partner with ISS MIResearch Data Operations and ISS MI Research teams on cleaning andvalidating data
  • Analysis of market research results in SPSS Excel and databaseenvironments
  • Creationof client deliverables
  • New content development

Qualifications:
  • University Degree with academic distinction
  • Strong quantitativeskills and a passion for analyzing statistical data
  • Desire to work in ateamoriented entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong sense ofownership of responsibilities combined with proactive mindset whenworking autonomously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated abilityto work with quantitative data
  • Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to proactivelymanage time to achieve target dates
  • Demonstrated abilityto juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to workindependently as well as collaborate effectively with other teams
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Office software (Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Experience with SPSSor another statistical program a plus
