(subject to review and approval) About the Role: Reporting directly to the Executive Group Manager (EGM) of the Decision Support Unit (DSU), the Senior Director Health Information Service (HIS) is responsible for providing strategic direction, and leadership for clinical records and heath information management functions incorporating both service improvement development and performance monitoring to meet the medical, legal, ethical and administrative requirements of health care delivery across Canberra Health Services.  Responsibilities include policy development, management, planning and best practice service delivery and compliance with the organisations risk management and clinical and corporate governance. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with team leaders across HIS to identify improvement opportunities, and to help build a collaborative, proactive workplace culture consistent with CHS values of reliable, progressive, respectful, and kind.
