Senior Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in SAP Ariba to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and business partners, working closely with clients and business stakeholders to elicit requirements, propose functional solutions, and support acceptance testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a trusted advisor and contribute to the success of our projects. #LI-DNI Responsibilities Bridge the gap between development and business partners by defining and resolving project or system problems Analyze business requirements, develop and evaluate alternatives, and prepare approaches for complex systems or applications Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to propose functional solutions and support acceptance testing Collaborate with development stakeholders to resolve requirements feasibility discussions, ambiguity, and conflicts Document software system requirements and manage them with end-to-end traceability using project/change management tools Work on Ariba configurations and integrations, collect business requirements, and interact with cross-functional teams Possess a good understanding of technology areas of the project and contribute to the success of the projects Support and guide the team through all phases of the project, ensuring the technical standards are maintained Requirements 6-9 years of experience in a Business Analyst role Proven experience as a liaison between development and business partners in SDLC projects Direct experience working with client/business stakeholders for requirements elicitation, proposing feasible functional solutions, supporting acceptance testing, and conflict resolution Direct experience working with development stakeholders for requirements feasibility discussion, ambiguity resolution, test scenario review, test result review, and conflict resolution Experience in documenting software system requirements and managing them with end-to-end traceability using project/change management tools Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban, Scrum Ban, or SAFe Familiarity with Ariba upstream or downstream modules, including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, and working on Ariba projects like implementation, upgrade, rollout, support, or testing Ability to collect business requirements and document them using Azure DevOps or Jira tools Desirable configuration experience of Ariba and the ability to work on configurations if required Experience in Ariba integrations with ECC or S/4 Hana, and prior interaction with business teams, development teams, and cross-functional teams B2+ English level proficiency Nice to have Experience in technical stacks of the project, including DB & backend services, ETL processes, API & Web Services, Batch Jobs, Notifications, and Subscriptions, Message Queues Experience in leading domains such as BFSI, Insurance, Payments, Healthcare, LifeSciences, ECOMM, Supply Chain Experience in Software Development and/or Testing is a plus but not mandatory Some experience in Scrum Master or Project Manager activities, and onsite client location experience is a plus We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
