Job Description
The company is currently looking for an Anodizing Process Engineer who will develop and validate anodizing line process parameters of mobile devices to achieve target yields while optimizing the process to meet specific build timelines.
Process Qualification
-Understands customer DFM (design for manufacturing)
- Studies and understands gloss, colour and its concepts
- Executes the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement in shopfloor
- Ensures execution of process parameter controls being shared to Shopfloor activity.
- Ensures tank readiness for gloss, thickness, Colour trial.
- Coordinates for PQ (process quality) sign-off with quality team
- Conducts colour trail - DOE in line and Lab
- Online line readiness with complete analysis report.
Yield Management
'-Monitors CP (process capability) & CPK (process capability index).
- Works and monitors the colour yield and performance throughout the process.
Root Cause and Failure Analysis
'-Identifies root cause using problem solving tools such as 7QC, Fishbone, Why-Why
-Implements corrective and preventive action
-Conducts failure analysis
Maintenance of documents
'- Ensures status of installation qualification (IQ)/operational qualification (OQ) is updated
- Checks GRR (gauge reproducibility and repeatability) value for any deviations
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Provides reports on build status on a regular basis
- Provides LBU (line bring up) status updates
- Creates failure analysis reports (do's/don’ts, one-point lesson)
SOPs & Documentation
'- Designs standard operating process and periodically updates the same, as required
- Prepares process DFM for individual stations
- Updates DFM in case of revisions and ensures circulation of the same (only for ME Process Planning)
Training
'-Provides on-the-job training to operators on job responsibilities as per SOPs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering
5-10 years relevant experience in Anodizing process (especially in mobile devices)
