Senior Front-End Engineer

This role is Office Based

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will be designing and delivering solutions that scale to meet the needs of some of the largest and most innovative organizations in the world. You will work with team members to understand and exceed the expectations of users, constantly pushing the technical envelope, and helping Cornerstone deliver great results. Working in an agile software development framework focused on development sprints and regular release cycles, you’ll own the complete feature story and mentor juniors.

In this role you will...

Work in a global team, delivering SaaS software on AWS. Develop, maintain and enhance modern responsive web application and services to contribute to our legacy and cloud platform, across the entire technology stack, including , C#, .NET, React, Redux, Typescript, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure Work with product management and designers to ensure we have consistent UI patterns and smart UX design Collaborate with the product management team to plan, design, and scope new features, and identify opportunities for enhancements Be responsible for your own test coverage, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress. Use TypeScript and JavaScript to write code supported in an open-source fashion, allowing other engineers within the company to contribute. Own your code all the way to production, including deployment and troubleshooting. Work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership and mentorship to more junior software engineers. Provide guidance to other engineers and quality assurance staff to ensure our requirements for quality, security, scalability, and usability are met.

You have got what it takes if you have...

4+ years of hands-on experience in building web applications using React JS 3+ years of experience with CSS, HTML/XML, JavaScript Solid JavaScript and Typescript skills & Strong CSS fundamentals Command of modern standards-based web development Experience architecting front-end tiers for high volume web applications A working understanding of accessibility standards (508 and WCAG is a big Plus. Demonstrated experience with cross-browser/platform development and debugging. Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and a detail-oriented mindset Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Experience with continuous delivery and deployment. Hands-on experience with AWS Experience in Figma is good to have. Exposure to .Net technologies is a big Plus.
