Role & responsibilities
- Plant Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day plant activities including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain.
- Ensure production targets are met in line with cost, quality, and delivery parameters.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for operational efficiency.
- Cross Functional Team (CFT) Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate CFTs (Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance).
- Drive alignment across departments to meet business objectives.
- Facilitate problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement through CFT initiatives.
- People & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant teams to enhance performance and build future leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure statutory compliance (labor laws, environmental, safety, and regulatory standards).
- Drive EHS culture and zero-incident workplace initiatives.
- Cost & Resource Optimization:
- Monitor budgets, control operating costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Drive efficiency projects to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Implement best practices (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen) for continuous improvement.
- Support management in long-term capacity planning, expansion, and automation projects.
