About the Traineeship Program

We are looking for a Packaging Design Trainee to join our creative & branding team. This unpaid traineeship program (6–8 weeks) is ideal for students and freshers who want to gain hands-on experience in fashion packaging, sustainable materials, and visual storytelling. You will work on designing innovative, eco-conscious packaging solutions that enhance the customer unboxing experience and strengthen Wabric's brand identity.

**Only students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Graphics Design/ Visual Communication/ Packaging Design/ Product Design and or relevant fields may apply. Selection will be based on interview performance. Candidates must be available for full-time (Remote) traineeship. (Add Your Portfolio Link in Resume)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conceptualizing and designing product packaging for apparel, footwear, and accessories.
  • Explore and test sustainable materials, upcycled designs, and eco-friendly packaging innovations.
  • Create mockups, dielines, and prototypes for packaging solutions.
  • Support in designing labels, hangtags, stickers, and inserts.
  • Collaborate with the fashion, marketing, and sustainability teams to align packaging with Wabric's brand values.
  • Research market trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences in fashion packaging.
  • Contribute to visual storytelling through packaging and unboxing experiences.

What You'll Learn

  • Fundamentals of packaging design & structural design for fashion retail.
  • Knowledge of printing techniques, material selection, and eco-friendly processes.
  • Hands-on with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, or 3D packaging tools.
  • Exposure to branding, sustainability, and customer experience design.
  • Real-world understanding of packaging production & supplier coordination.

Requirements

  • Student/fresher in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Packaging Design, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic/packaging design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CAD for packaging).
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, typography, and material innovation.
  • Interest in sustainable design and eco-friendly materials.
