Tech Scout Labs is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Solutions Specialist – IoT to join our team. In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative IoT solutions that address real-world business challenges across industries. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and partners to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify client needs and propose tailored IoT solutions.
  • Lead the design and architecture of IoT systems, including device selection, connectivity, data management, analytics, and security.
  • Prepare technical proposals and documentation with accuracy and clarity.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to implement IoT solutions in line with best practices and quality standards.
  • Provide end-to-end technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, innovation strategies, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies, standards, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, Zigbee, cellular), IoT gateways, and sensors.
  • Experience with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT, and Things Board.
  • Knowledge of data management, real-time analytics, machine learning, and security standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in industry-specific IoT applications such as smart cities, industrial automation, healthcare, or agriculture.
  • Knowledge of IoT security best practices, networking architecture, and sensor technologies.
  • Ability to develop training materials and support knowledge-sharing across teams.
