Data Management Coordinator

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experiencedData Management Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team for a keyproject within the Automobile industry. This role is critical to ensuring the efficientand accurate flow of data related to various supply chain activities,ultimately supporting the smooth operation of our business processes. The idealcandidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention todetail, and a deep understanding of Supply Chain principles, particularlywithin the context of the Automobile industry.

Responsibilities:

1.Purchase Order (PO) Management:

·Generate and maintain PurchaseOrders for Parts and Tires, ensuring accuracy in item descriptions, quantities,pricing, and delivery schedules.

·Collaborate closely withprocurement teams and vendors to reconcile any discrepancies and expedite orderprocessing.

2.Product Code Activation andMaintenance:

·Coordinate the activation ofproduct codes in the system, working closely with cross-functional teams toensure alignment with product specifications and pricing agreements.

·Regularly review and updateproduct codes as needed to reflect changes in inventory or pricing structures.

3.PO Volume Management:

·Manage a high volume ofPurchase Orders, approximately 700 per week, with a focus on maintainingefficiency and accuracy throughout the process.

·Monitor order status,proactively identify potential delays or issues, and take appropriate actionsto mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.

4.Container Ordering andLogistics:

·Facilitate the ordering andlogistics coordination for containers, optimizing shipping schedules andtransportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

·Work closely with logisticspartners and carriers to track shipments and resolve any delivery-relatedissues in a timely manner.

5.Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) Ordering:

·Oversee the EDI orderingprocess, managing data exchanges with vendors and ensuring seamless integrationwith internal systems.

·Troubleshoot EDI issues andcollaborate with IT teams to implement solutions and enhancements to improveprocess efficiency.

6.Just-in-Time (JIT) InventoryManagement:

·Support JIT inventorymanagement practices by monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns,and coordinating replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.

·Collaborate with productionteams to synchronize supply and demand and minimize excess inventory holdingcosts.
