Job Description

You will be responsible for:Draft & execute HR policies aligning with local labour laws.Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance with employment legislation, and internal policies.Audit and advise Human Resources (HR) and line management on labour compliance matters.Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes. Align policy with those changes and communicate these to management.Provide guidance to management and HR on investigating and resolving filed complaints. Participate on the investigating team and own the Functions Managed Allegations within the assigned location.Act as the point of contact for external legal advisors and coordinate withlegal department in employment lawsuits.Oversee comprehensive end-to-end compliance across diverse labor laws, encompassing regulations such as The Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, The Factories Act,1948, State-specific Shop Acts, The Maternity Benefit Act 1971, and The Payment of Bonus Act 1965.Managing Statutory Compliance under Factories/ Shops & Establishment Act bases across India.Liaison with government authorities, external consultants & vendors for employment law related matters.Respond to inquiries from internal/external auditors and regulatory agencies surrounding audits/grievances/notice.Monitor business processes with a focus on compliance with labour laws and identify opportunities for improvement or areas of deficiency.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
