Job Description :


Overview :


We are actively seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with capabilities at the Consultant level. S4HANA implementation experience is a must. The candidate should also possess strong ABAP development expertise in W R I C E F areas and the ability to design (TechSpec) and develop objects independently. Additionally, the candidate should have experience managing 1-2 junior team members for effective project deployment.


Responsibilities :


- S4HANA Implementation : Lead and actively contribute to S4HANA implementation projects. Ensure alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.


- Team Management : Manage 1-2 junior team members and provide guidance for their professional growth. Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.


- ABAP Development : Utilize strong ABAP development expertise in the areas of Workflow (W), Reports (R), Interfaces (I), Conversions (C), Enhancements (E), and Forms (F). Design and develop objects independently, following best practices and project guidelines.


- TechSpec Design : Create detailed Technical Specifications (TechSpec) for ABAP development projects. Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


- Quality Assurance : Perform thorough testing of ABAP objects to ensure functionality and quality. Collaborate with testing teams to address and resolve issues identified during testing phases.


- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for all ABAP development work. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.


- Continuous Learning : Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices. Actively participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.


Requirements :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- 4-12 years of overall experience in SAP ABAP development.


- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience at the Consultant level.


- Proven experience in S4HANA implementation projects.


- Strong expertise in ABAP development in W R I C E F areas.


- Experience managing 1-2 junior team members.


- Ability to independently design (TechSpec) and develop ABAP objects.


- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


Preferred Skills :


- Exposure to SAP Fiori development.


- Knowledge of SAP HANA database.


- Experience in performance tuning and optimization.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


- SAP certification in ABAP development.
